The Beauty Of Us depicts two souls who face each other, each with their own intricate minds. They are both beautiful and complex yet delicate and fragile.
Created in the Outer Hebrides, this piece is inspired by how different people can be and how we try to understand each other.
A second interpretation of these silhouettes could be more literal. The watercolour textures mimic cells, nerves and veins, everything that keeps us alive.
Creation: Two versions of the silhouettes are painted and then digitally merged together to create the unique textures. Each limited edition print is embellished with hand-painted acrylic gold, finished with a light gold dust for extra shine.
The nature of the gold application makes each piece unique in its own right.
Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.

Created long before my journey into business and map-making, this series became an emotional outlet—a way to process the difficult decision of leaving a long-term relationship.
The watercolour represents the memories that make us and the people we love throughout our lives, all beautiful and different, some we cling to and some we let go of.
Our minds are intricate—beautiful, delicate, and messy, much like watercolor. In the same way, we navigate the complexity of understanding and appreciating the beauty in one another.
